Compress PDF to 100 KB

Many forms and portals only accept PDFs up to 100 KB. Pick your file and we keep the best quality that fits, all on your device.

No uploads. No accounts. No paywalls. No ads.

How it works

Your browser reads the PDF and recompresses suitable images. Text and vector content are kept where the PDF engine supports it.

Why use this tool?

No uploads, accounts, ads, or tracking. The processing engine runs locally on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Does compression reduce quality?

Image detail may change. High quality favors clarity; text and vector graphics usually remain sharp.

Are files uploaded?

No. Files stay in this browser tab and are never sent to a server.

Can I choose a target size?

Yes. We try several settings and choose the best result under your target when possible.

Why might my PDF not become smaller?

Already optimized PDFs may have little redundancy. We keep the original if rewriting makes it larger.

Can I compress a password-protected PDF?

Yes. Enter the password; it is only used in this tab. The compressed copy is saved without a password.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. It runs in modern mobile browsers. Very large PDFs can exceed a phone's memory; a computer handles those better.

Privacy

All processing runs in a local Web Worker. This site uses no analytics, accounts, cookies, or PDF storage. Your browser downloads application assets, but PDF data, filenames, and metadata are not sent to us.

Compression is powered by Ghostscript, the open-source PDF engine by Artifex, compiled to WebAssembly; result checks use Mozilla's pdf.js. Thank you, Ghostscript.
